House of Representatives appoints members to joint committee investigating economic sabotage in petroleum industry

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, PhD, has appointed key members to the Joint Senate/House Committee responsible for investigating allegations of economic sabotage within Nigeria’s petroleum industry.

In a statement Spokesman, House of Representatives Rep. Akin Rotimi, Jr said this critical committee will operate in close collaboration with the Senate to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to the investigation.

The appointed members from the House of Representatives are as follows:

Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere – Co-Chairman/House Leader

Hon. Iduma Igariwey – Member

Hon. Gboyega N. Isiaka – Member

Hon. Sada Soli – Member

Hon. Fatima Talba – Member

Hon. Tunji Raheem – Member

Hon. Patrick Umoh, PhD – Member

The joint committee’s structure is designed to enhance synergy between the two legislative chambers, facilitating a thorough and efficient investigation.
