The Katsina State Government has announced a relaxation of the curfew imposed across the state, following positive developments in the security situation. The curfew, which previously restricted movement from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, will now be in effect from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Abdullahi Garba Faskari, Secretary to the State Government, disclosed that the Acting Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal, HCIB, made the decision after being briefed on the improved security conditions statewide. The review of the curfew takes immediate effect.
Malam Faruk Lawal expressed his appreciation for the security personnel’s efforts and the cooperation of the public during the challenging period. He urged residents to continue being law-abiding as they go about their daily activities.
