The Northern Christian Youth Professionals (NCYP) has congratulated Senator John Azuta-Mbata on his election as the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the leading socio-cultural organization for Igbos globally.
In a statement by NCYP Chairman Isaac Abrak, the group expressed confidence in Azuta-Mbata’s ability to address challenges facing the Igbo region, citing his extensive experience in public service and his impactful tenure in the Nigerian Senate.
“Senator Azuta-Mbata’s leadership arrives at a pivotal moment as Ndigbo work to overcome security challenges. His expertise in defense, finance, and infrastructure will be instrumental in fostering regional security and economic development,” the statement read.
The NCYP praised the Igbo community’s contributions to Nigeria’s economy through entrepreneurship and expressed optimism that this legacy will flourish under Azuta-Mbata’s stewardship.
