Nigerian Army urges Cross River youths to seize recruitment opportunity

The Nigerian Army has called on young men and women of Cross River State to take advantage of the forthcoming 90 Regular Recruitment Intake, describing it as a chance to serve the nation while pursuing rewarding careers.

In a statement signed by Captain Yemi Sokoya, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 13 Brigade Calabar, the Army stressed its commitment to engaging disciplined and patriotic youths ready to uphold values of loyalty, integrity, courage, and selfless service.

“This exercise presents a golden opportunity for patriotic young men and women to serve their fatherland, pursue rewarding careers, and contribute to the peace and security of Nigeria,” the statement read.

The Army highlighted that enlistment provides access to professional training, career growth, and opportunities across diverse fields including engineering, medicine, ICT, logistics, and administration.

Online registration for the recruitment exercise will open on September 29, 2025, via the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal. The Army emphasized that the process is free of charge and warned applicants to beware of fraudsters or middlemen.

Community leaders, traditional rulers, parents, and guardians in Cross River State were also urged to encourage eligible youths to apply, as part of collective efforts to strengthen national security and build a more peaceful and united Nigeria.
