The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has dismissed as false a press release circulating on social media claiming that the Agency has announced a recruitment exercise.
In a statement, NAFDAC clarified that the purported release did not emanate from the Agency and should be completely disregarded. While noting that it periodically conducts recruitment exercises to engage qualified Nigerians, the Agency stressed that no such recruitment has been announced at this time.
NAFDAC warned members of the public to be cautious of fraudulent recruitment information, which is often spread with the intention of misleading and extorting unsuspecting applicants.
“For the avoidance of doubt, NAFDAC has not issued any press release or notice announcing a new recruitment exercise,” the Agency stated.
It emphasised that all authentic information from NAFDAC is communicated solely through its official website and other recognised, verified communication channels.
The Agency urged the public to remain vigilant, ignore fake announcements, and always verify information directly from official NAFDAC platforms.
