As Christians prepare for the Easter season, City of Truth and Grace Assembly has announced a comprehensive programme for its 2026 celebration, aimed at promoting spiritual renewal and strengthening community bonds.
Themed “The Power of Resurrection,” the initiative is designed to inspire faith, rekindle hope, and foster collective spiritual engagement amid prevailing social and economic challenges.
According to the organisers, the programme will commence on Good Friday with a family-focused prayer session hosted by Dipo Fisho. The session is expected to serve as a platform for intercession on personal and societal issues, with emphasis on unity, healing, and divine guidance for families and the wider community.
Activities will culminate on Easter Sunday with a special worship service centred on the message of resurrection, renewal, and spiritual rebirth.
Beyond worship, the church said the programme will incorporate fellowship activities, including a love feast aimed at strengthening relationships among members and welcoming first-time attendees, while reinforcing the core Easter message of love, sacrifice, and redemption.
Organisers described the event as more than a routine celebration, noting that it has been carefully curated to deliver both spiritual inspiration and community impact.
“This is not just a celebration; it is a call to experience transformation and new beginnings,” the church stated.
The event will be held at The Grounds Sport Arena, with activities scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Good Friday and 8:00 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
With expectations of a large turnout, the church said the programme is open to people of all backgrounds and is intended to promote unity, faith, and a renewed sense of purpose. Residents across the city have been encouraged to participate in what organisers describe as a significant Easter gathering focused on hope, renewal, and shared spiritual experience.
