Rufai Oseni denies suspension rumours, labels claims ‘APC propaganda’

Broadcaster Rufai Oseni has dismissed reports alleging his suspension by Arise News, describing the claims circulating on social media as false and politically motivated.

The reports, which suggested that the journalist had been taken off air, were debunked by sources who attributed them to misinformation and alleged propaganda linked to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Contrary to the viral claims, Oseni is currently in Berlin, where he is attending a series of conferences and international engagements. He is also scheduled to participate in events at the Bundestag, which sits at the Reichstag Building.

The clarification comes amid heightened political discourse online, where unverified reports about prominent figures often gain rapid traction.

Observers note that Oseni’s presence at international forums highlights the growing involvement of Nigerian media professionals in global conversations on governance, policy, and democratic development.

Oseni also disclosed that he will be available for a meet-and-greet with Nigerians in Berlin at Ebeano Soul Food Restaurant in Charlottenburg. During the engagement, he is expected to deliver a brief lecture on Nigeria’s history, its X rating, and key development issues.
