FRSC FCT command receives Hilux donation, decorates Enenches as honorary special marshals

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), FCT Sector Command, on March 1, 2026, received a Toyota Hilux vehicle donation from Dunamis International Gospel Centre at the Glory Dome in Abuja, in a move aimed at strengthening patrol and emergency response operations in the Federal Capital Territory.

The vehicle is designated to support RS 7.18 Lugbe Unit Command, enhancing operational mobility for patrol, rescue and enforcement activities within its jurisdiction.

Representing the Corps Marshal, Assistant Corps Marshal Godwin Omiko, Ph.D., described the donation as a significant demonstration of public-private partnership in advancing road safety objectives. He noted that such collaborations are critical to improving response time, enforcement coverage and overall service delivery across the FCT.

In a highlight of the ceremony, Senior Pastor of the church, Paul Enenche, and his wife, Becky Paul-Enenche, were decorated as Honorary Special Marshals. The investiture was formally endorsed by the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed.

The event underscored a shared commitment between the FRSC and faith-based organisations to promote discipline, compliance with traffic regulations and sustained advocacy aimed at reducing road crashes and safeguarding lives.
