The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has ordered the arrest of two commission officers accused of manhandling a female staff member of Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos.
The officers were captured in a viral video assaulting the hotel staff during an early morning sting operation in Lagos, which resulted in the arrest of several suspects who are currently under investigation.
Mr. Olukoyede has mandated a thorough investigation into the operation and assured that any officer found culpable will face appropriate disciplinary actions. He emphasized that the EFCC remains committed to conducting its operations professionally and with full respect for the rule of law.
