Again, troops neutralized three bandits, captured arms and equipment in Kaduna

The ongoing clearance operation carried out by the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army continues to yield positive outcomes as military forces engaged with bandits and criminal individuals within the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for the 1 Division Nigerian Army, Musa Yahaya, reported that in the course of a meticulously planned and skillfully executed operation, the troops successfully neutralized three bandits. Additionally, they seized an AK-47 rifle, two locally crafted AK-47 rifles, seven AK-47 magazines, and eight motorcycles. The recovered items also encompassed three homemade magazines, six mobile phones, as well as drugs and charms believed to be associated with criminal activities.

Maj. Gen. BA Alabi, the General Officer Commanding the 1 Division Nigerian Army and the Force Commander of Operation Whirl Punch, expressed his commendation for the remarkable achievements accomplished by the courageous troops.
