Air Commodore Caleb Olayera, the leader of the Commander 105 Composite Group in Maiduguri, paid a respectful visit to Major General Gold Chibuisi, the Theatre Commander of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK). The purpose of the visit was to foster and strengthen the existing collaboration between OPHK and 105 Composite Group.
During this visit, Air Commodore Olayera expressed his admiration for the commendable achievements attained in the ongoing operations under the leadership of the Theatre Commander. He also underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between his command, the 105 Composite Group, and the Air Component Command of OPHK. This collaboration aims to maintain effective air support and establish control over the airspace within a unified operational framework, all in pursuit of fulfilling the operational objectives of OPHK.
In response, Major General Gold Chibuisi conveyed his gratitude to Commodore Olayera for the visit, highlighting the criticality of collective effort in the ongoing operations. He emphasized the necessity for combined dedication and action. Furthermore, the Theatre Commander assured the 105 Composite Group of his continuous backing and support from the Theatre in their collaborative endeavors.
