The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.) has refuted circulating rumors that employment slots within the company are being offered for sale, urging the public, particularly jobseekers, to disregard such claims.
The company described the rumors as baseless and the work of fraudsters attempting to exploit unsuspecting individuals.
In a statement, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd. Abuja Olufemi Soneye emphasized that recruitment into the company is a transparent process that does not involve the sale of positions or any form of inducement. The company warned that anyone who pays money for a job at NNPC does so at their own risk.
