President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of new leaders for key positions within the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) and the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT).
Mr. Daser David has been appointed as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Bridge Institute. An academic and industry expert, Mr. David brings a wealth of knowledge in digital technologies and educational leadership to his new role. His expertise is expected to drive innovation and advance the institute’s mission of building capacity in information and communication technologies (ICT) across Nigeria.
In addition, President Tinubu has approved the appointments of Mr. Reuben Oshomah and Mr. Adama Kure as Executive Directors at NIGCOMSAT. Mr. Oshomah will serve as the Executive Director of Marketing, leveraging his extensive experience in communications satellite marketing and strategic business development to enhance NIGCOMSAT’s market presence and operational efficiency. Mr. Kure, appointed as the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, brings a strong background in financial management and corporate governance, which will be crucial in steering the organization’s financial strategies and administrative functions.
These appointments are part of President Tinubu’s broader strategy to strengthen Nigeria’s digital infrastructure and communications capabilities. The newly appointed officers are expected to bring their considerable expertise to bear in advancing the strategic goals of their respective institutions.
