 Anti-graft War: FIDA assures EFCC of collaboration

The Kaduna Branch of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) has pledged its support to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in its battle against corruption and various economic and financial offenses. Aisha Abdu Muhammad, Chairperson of FIDA Kaduna, conveyed this commitment during a courtesy visit by FIDA officials to the Kaduna Zonal Command of the EFCC. She acknowledged the Commission’s longstanding efforts, which have contributed to raising public awareness about fraudulent activities.

In response, ACE.1 Aisha Abubakar, Acting Zonal Commander, assured FIDA of the EFCC’s eagerness to collaborate closely with them, recognizing them as important partners in the fight against corruption. She emphasized the pivotal role that women play in ensuring the proper upbringing and guidance of children, ultimately shaping them into responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.

The Acting Zonal Commander expressed gratitude for FIDA’s visit, acknowledging the Commission’s ongoing support from legal professionals over the years.
