The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has approved the redeployment of senior officers across the country as part of efforts to enhance efficiency and strengthen road safety management.
The reshuffle also affected several Sector Commands nationwide. Notably, CC J.N. Alexander was posted to Delta State, CC Y.T. Etuku to Kogi State, CC B. Asekhauno to Anambra, CC R.M.Z. Abubakar to Kebbi, CC D.B. Apaji to Bauchi, and CC A.P. Longkam to Yobe.
In addition, 61 other Corps Commanders have been reassigned across headquarters, zonal commands, the academy, and special units, covering operations, policy, logistics, training, data management, and medical services.
Mohammed urged the officers to bring renewed vigour to their roles and reaffirmed FRSC’s commitment to safer highways and stricter compliance with traffic regulations. He also appealed to motorists to cooperate with the new appointees in sustaining safer road practices nationwide.
