FRSC redeploys senior officers nationwide for improved service delivery

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has approved the redeployment of senior officers across the country as part of efforts to enhance efficiency and strengthen road safety management.

In a statement, Corps Public Education Officer Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, Abuja Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide said the new postings include the appointment of ACM G. Ntukidem as Corps Secretary at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja. Other key changes saw ACM J.W. Toby move to Zonal Commanding Officer, RS11HQ Osogbo; ACM I. Abubakar take over as ACM Policy at headquarters; ACM A.M. Hassan redeployed to head Technical Services; and ACM A. Sanusi resume as ACM Manpower Development.

The reshuffle also affected several Sector Commands nationwide. Notably, CC J.N. Alexander was posted to Delta State, CC Y.T. Etuku to Kogi State, CC B. Asekhauno to Anambra, CC R.M.Z. Abubakar to Kebbi, CC D.B. Apaji to Bauchi, and CC A.P. Longkam to Yobe.

In addition, 61 other Corps Commanders have been reassigned across headquarters, zonal commands, the academy, and special units, covering operations, policy, logistics, training, data management, and medical services.

Mohammed urged the officers to bring renewed vigour to their roles and reaffirmed FRSC’s commitment to safer highways and stricter compliance with traffic regulations. He also appealed to motorists to cooperate with the new appointees in sustaining safer road practices nationwide.
