In a significant development for Nigeria’s energy sector, the Ministers of State in the Petroleum Ministry, Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, and Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, embarked on a comprehensive facility tour of the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Gas Pipeline Project construction site today. This high-profile visit was aimed at assessing the progress of this critical infrastructure project.
The esteemed Ministers were joined on their inspection tour by the Group CEO of NNPC Limited, Mr. Mele Kyari, and the Chief Executive of the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed. The presence of these distinguished officials underscores the importance of the OB3 Gas Pipeline Project in Nigeria’s energy landscape.
During the site visit, the Ministers and accompanying officials expressed their unwavering confidence in the project’s advancement. Sen.
