The workshop, which ended on Wednesday in Abuja, brought together senior law enforcement officials, technology experts and international partners to examine the growing role of artificial intelligence in modern policing and security management.
Participants engaged in extensive discussions on practical applications of AI in law enforcement, the challenges associated with adopting new technologies and lessons from global best practices aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness within the Nigeria Police Force.
Speaking at the event, the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, said the deliberations underscored the urgent need for security agencies to adapt to technological advancements shaping policing worldwide.
