As part of activities marking the 2025 Nigerian Army Day Celebration, the Nigerian Army has commissioned a state-of-the-art, 30,000-litre capacity solar-powered borehole at Anguwan Zomo in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The project underscores the Army’s commitment to community development and provision of sustainable infrastructure. By leveraging solar technology, the borehole offers an eco-friendly solution to water scarcity, particularly in rural areas.
Army authorities noted that the initiative not only addresses critical water needs but also aims to enhance civil-military relations and foster goodwill between the military and host communities.
