The COAS expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Assembly, and other key stakeholders for supporting the Army’s re-equipping initiatives, which have significantly enhanced operational efficiency. He reaffirmed the Army’s loyalty to the Constitution and its commitment to defending Nigeria’s sovereignty.
Welfare and Equipment Milestones
As part of ongoing welfare initiatives, the COAS presented Group Life Insurance Cheques to the next of kin of fallen heroes and handed over 12 Hilux vehicles to Army Warrant Officers. The event also showcased the newly produced Vanquisher Light Armoured Vehicle.
