President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received Mr. Anders Holch Povlsen, Denmark’s richest man and Chief Executive Officer of BESTSELLER as well as Chair of the BESTSELLER Foundation, at the State House, Abuja.
Mr. Povlsen, who was accompanied by the Danish Ambassador to Nigeria, Jens Bach Hansen, met with President Tinubu to discuss opportunities for partnership between Nigeria and Denmark in sustainable development, investment, and innovation.
Also present at the meeting were the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani.
The discussions focused on strengthening economic ties, fostering private sector collaboration, and exploring initiatives that align with Nigeria’s digital economy and renewable energy goals.
President Tinubu welcomed the Danish delegation and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for foreign investment and innovation-driven growth.
