The Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Kaduna State Command, Mr. Hakeem Abiola, has paid a courtesy visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Sector 1 Joint Task Force, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Major General Abubakar Sadiq Muhammed Wase, at the Division Headquarters in Kaduna.
According to Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 1 Division Nigerian Army Lieut. Col. Shuaib Umar, Mr. Abiola congratulated the GOC on his appointment and emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership with the Division to enhance national security and jointly address insurgency and banditry within its Area of Responsibility.
In his remarks, Major General Wase reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s commitment to non-kinetic approaches, stressing continuous collaboration with sister services, security agencies, and the Kaduna State Government to maintain peace and security in the region.
The visit featured an interactive session and exchange of souvenirs.
