The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared 61-year-old Abdulrasheed Abdullahi Maina wanted over an alleged case of receiving stolen property.
In a notice issued by the anti-graft agency, Maina, whose photograph was released by the Commission, was identified as an indigene of Biu in Borno State.
The EFCC urged members of the public with useful information about his whereabouts to contact any of its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja.
The Commission also provided the contact number 08093322644 and email address info@efcc.gov.ng for members of the public who may have relevant information.
The EFCC further advised anyone with information on Maina’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or other security agencies.
The declaration forms part of the Commission’s efforts to locate persons wanted in connection with alleged financial crimes and facilitate ongoing investigations.
