In an official statement released Wednesday, the Commission clarified that the former governor is not being held in any of its detention facilities.
The EFCC emphasized that while Bello is not in their custody, he remains a wanted individual. The Commission had previously declared the ex-governor wanted over alleged involvement in a massive N80.2 billion money laundering case.
