The Federal Government has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates in the Federal Fire Service (FFS) recruitment exercise, a process that began in late 2023.
Ja’afaru Ahmed, Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja. According to Ahmed, the names of successful candidates have been uploaded to the Board’s portal, accessible from Monday, December 9, 2024.
“Candidates who applied for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service are advised to visit the portal cdcfib.career to check their status and print their invitation letters,” Ahmed stated.
He added that the final documentation exercise for successful applicants is scheduled to take place at the Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Center at the Nigerian Correctional Service Headquarters in Abuja. The exercise will run from December 9 to December 21, 2024.
Applicants are required to appear in white tops and shorts and bring both original and photocopied credentials. Ahmed emphasized strict adherence to the details provided in the invitation letters, including the designated appearance dates.
This development marks the conclusion of a year-long recruitment process and provides clarity for thousands of applicants seeking to join the Federal Fire Service.
