Goodluck Jonathan foundation denounces fake youth empowerment scheme

The Goodluck Jonathan Foundation has issued a public disclaimer regarding a false message currently circulating about a youth empowerment initiative purportedly titled “Empowering Nigerian Youth Enhancing Economic Growth.”

In a statement signed by the Executive Director, Ann Iyonu Mpi, the Foundation clarified that it has no affiliation with the scheme, which falsely claims to offer financial support to individuals.

“We urge the public to disregard the message. The information is not only misleading but also an apparent attempt to defraud unsuspecting members of the public,” the statement read.

The Foundation emphasized its commitment to promoting peace and prosperity through transparent and legitimate means. It advised the public to verify any claims related to its programs via its official website, www.gejfoundation.org, or by contacting them directly at info@gejfoundation.org.

For updates and accurate information, the Foundation also recommended following its verified social media accounts: @gejfoundation on X (formerly Twitter) and Goodluck Jonathan Foundation on Facebook.

The public is urged to stop the spread of the misleading message and rely only on official channels for credible information.
