Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has urged the governing body’s sub-committees to deliberate and formulate innovative ideas, policies, and programs aimed at elevating Nigerian football to unprecedented levels of excellence.
Gusau delivered this directive during the inauguration of five of the Federation’s sub-committees in Abuja on Wednesday, emphasizing the critical role of fresh perspectives and expert counsel in guiding the NFF Executive Committee towards optimal performance.
“In the ever-evolving landscape of football, it is imperative that we embrace dynamic ideas to foster genuine growth and sustainability,” stated Gusau. “The chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, and members of these committees are entrusted with the responsibility to contribute ideas that will propel us closer to achieving our goals of advancing the sport to new heights.”
Highlighting the pervasive influence of the digital age, Gusau outlined that virtual meetings would become the norm for the committees, with physical gatherings reserved for exceptional circumstances. He expressed gratitude to the committee members for their willingness to serve under the current NFF administration.
Responding on behalf of the inaugurated committees, NFF 1st Vice President Felix Anyansi-Agwu affirmed their commitment to generating innovative ideas and formulating policies and programs aimed at enhancing Nigerian football.
