The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the posting of the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Delta State Command.
In a statement Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the deployment reflects the confidence of the Force leadership in Adejobi’s wealth of experience, professionalism, and capacity to enhance operational strategies in the Command.
While commending Adejobi for his outstanding service as Force Public Relations Officer, the IGP highlighted his professionalism, commitment, and significant contributions to strengthening the image and communication strategies of the Nigeria Police Force. He expressed confidence that Adejobi will bring the same level of excellence and dedication to his new role.
Meanwhile, the Force Headquarters has confirmed that arrangements are underway for the appointment of a new Force Public Relations Officer.
