The Inspector General of Police, Acting IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., has granted official approval for the strategic appointment of dedicated Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) to key Commands and Formations within the Nigeria Police Force.

In an official statement Force Public Relations Officer Force Headquarters, Abuja ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said this move is poised to serve as a catalyst in fostering improved communication, transparency, and community engagement within the designated duty areas.

He said the newly appointed PPROs have been meticulously chosen based on their exemplary professional aptitude, superior communication skills, and unwavering commitment to building positive relations between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Their role is instrumental in establishing and maintaining trust between the Nigeria Police Force and the public, facilitating a safer and more secure society.

The distinguished PPRO appointees are as follows:

DSP Chukwukadibia O. Omojola: Appointed as PPRO for Railway Command.

ASP Mansir Hassanto: Appointed as PPRO for Kaduna State Command.

ASP Nahum Daso Kenneth: Appointed as PPRO for Borno State Command.

ASP Mayegun Aminat Oluwakemi: Appointed as PPRO for the Force Criminal Investigations Annex, Lagos.
