The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, strongly condemned the cowardly and senseless killing of SP Bako Angbashim. At the time of his tragic demise, SP Bako Angbashim served as the Divisional Police Officer for Ahoada Division in Rivers State.
According to ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer at Force Headquarters, Abuja, the IGP has expressed deep concern over this heinous act. The IGP is unequivocal in his stance that such malicious acts against any member of the Force will not be tolerated. He assures that the pursuit of justice will begin promptly, and those responsible for this heinous crime will be relentlessly pursued, apprehended, and brought to justice.
