IGP Egbetokun mourns passing of Akwa-Ibom First Lady, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno

Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Governor Umo Bassey Eno of Akwa-Ibom State on the passing of his wife, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the state’s First Lady. Mrs. Eno sadly passed away on September 26, 2024.

In a statement Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said in his condolence message, IGP Egbetokun paid tribute to the First Lady’s legacy of compassion and service, particularly her impact on the people of Akwa-Ibom State. He acknowledged that her loss is deeply felt by her family and the entire Nigerian community.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Umo and his family during this difficult time,” the IGP stated, adding that he prays for the peaceful repose of Mrs. Eno’s soul and that her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.

The IGP extended his deepest sympathies to Governor Umo and prayed for the strength and solace of the family in bearing this profound loss.

The message was conveyed by ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Inspector General of Police.
