IGP reaffirms commitment to security during Ramadan

In anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun extends warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah nationwide, emphasizing the importance of reflection, spiritual growth, and communal solidarity during this significant period.

According to Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters,Abuja ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, acknowledging the sanctity of Ramadan and its importance to millions of Muslim faithful globally, the Nigeria Police Force reiterates its unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all citizens. Recognizing the significance of respecting religious practices and cultural traditions, the Police underscores the imperative of promoting principles of tolerance, understanding, and unity within Nigeria’s diverse society.

IGP Egbetokun urges the Muslim Ummah to embody the values of compassion, generosity, and forgiveness emblematic of Ramadan.
