Joint Task Force Operation UDO KA conducts successful raid on IPOB/ESN camp in Ebonyi

Troops belonging to Sector 2 (EBONYI) of the Joint Task Force South East Operation UDO KA, in collaboration with personnel from the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), acting upon credible intelligence, executed a meticulously planned raid operation on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and their armed affiliate, the Eastern Security Network (ESN). This operation took place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, resulting in significant achievements.

The operation targeted the IPOB/ESN Camp situated at Mgbalukwu in Inyimagu, Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Upon engagement with the hostile elements, one IPOB member was neutralized, while others managed to escape into the nearby forests. Among the items seized during the operation were one AK-47 rifle, two AK-47 magazines, 54 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition, and three stolen Sienna buses.
