In a collaborative effort between the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and the COGINTA Non-Governmental Organisation, a significant stride has been taken towards the betterment of the Daboulda community situated in Blangua, Sector 1, Cameroon. This endeavor, part of the MNJTF’s Civil-Military activities, marked a remarkable moment as educational resources, infrastructure, and a borehole for water supply were graciously extended to the community on August 28, 2023.
The Military Public Information Officer in N’djamena, Chad, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, conveyed that the donation encompassed essential elements such as classroom facilities, administrative buildings, sanitary amenities, and a fully functional borehole. These infrastructural enhancements are poised to provide robust support for the advancement and progress of the community. The Deputy Force Commander, Brigadier General Assoualai Blama, acting on behalf of the MNJTF Force Commander, Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, presented this generous contribution.

In his address, the Deputy Force Commander conveyed sincere appreciation to the partners who played a pivotal role in realizing this project. Furthermore, he appealed for the community’s collaboration with the security forces to eradicate the enduring influence of the Boko Haram extremist ideology that has plagued the region for a prolonged period.
This benevolent donation, recognized as a strategic step to counteract the root causes of insurgency such as illiteracy and inadequate access to fundamental amenities, is anticipated to catalyze noteworthy enhancements in the socio-economic landscape of the community. This initiative stands as a testament to the strong partnership between the MNJTF, COGINTA, and the local communities, united in their shared endeavor to foster stability and advancement within the region.
