Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, officially assumed the position of Chairman at the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), marking the commencement of his tenure as the fifth substantive leader of the Commission.
Dr. Aliyu made his entrance at the Commission headquarters at approximately 2:30 pm, following his earlier inauguration ceremony held in the Council Chambers of the State House. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administered the oath of office to the newly appointed ICPC Chairman earlier in the day.
The swearing-in event, which also saw the induction of the Chairman and members of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), took place at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja on December 13, 2023. President Bola Tinubu, in his official capacity, officiated the ceremony, solidifying the commencement of Dr. Musa Aliyu’s leadership at ICPC.

Dr. Aliyu, in assuming office, expressed his commitment to leadership characterized by humility and attentive governance. The new ICPC Chairman conveyed his dedication to fostering an environment of transparency and accountability within the Commission, emphasizing his role in combating corrupt practices and related offenses.
