NAF dispatches fact-finding team to investigate Zamfara airstrikes

In light of reports indicating civilian casualties following recent airstrikes conducted by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Zamfara State, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has promptly deployed a fact-finding team to investigate the incident thoroughly.

The fact-finding team, led by Air Vice Marshal Edward K. Gabkwet, who serves as the Director of Coordination and Cooperation (DCC) in the Civil-Military Relations Branch at NAF Headquarters, will engage with a range of stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the events. The team is tasked with working closely with state and local government officials, as well as other critical stakeholders, to ensure a holistic assessment of the situation.
