Wing Commander Ademola Oluwatoyin Ogunleye of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has emerged as the second overall best student of the Senior Command and Staff Course Intake 13 at the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC).

Ogunleye’s outstanding academic performance placed him among the top of a competitive class of 108 senior officers drawn from the Rwanda Defence Force, Rwanda National Police, 18 other African nations, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The graduation ceremony was graced by the Prime Minister of Rwanda, Dr. Edouard Ngirente, officials from the Nigerian High Commission in Rwanda, and a host of regional and international dignitaries.

This achievement underscores the Nigerian Air Force’s growing reputation in regional and global military education and diplomacy. It also reflects the commitment of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, to advancing officer training, capacity development, and international cooperation.

Ogunleye’s success is seen as a testament to Nigeria’s increasing influence in African military professionalism and strategic leadership.
