The Federal Government of Nigeria has granted approval for the sale of the Falcon 900B aircraft currently in possession of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF). In adherence to the stipulations outlined in the Public Procurement Act of 2007, the NAF extends an invitation to all interested parties to participate in the bidding process for the acquisition of the aforementioned aircraft.
According to Air Commodore EK Gabkwet, bids may be submitted either electronically or through physical means. For email submissions, interested parties are required to password-protect their bids and forward them to dproc@airforce.mil.ng, with the password sent separately to dproc2@airforce.mil.ng. Alternatively, physical submissions are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name, address, and relevant details of the bidding entity. The envelope must prominently display the inscription, ‘DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 24 DECEMBER 2023.’ It is imperative to note that bids received after the specified deadline or those lacking the requisite password will be deemed non-compliant.
The processing of bids will commence immediately upon the expiration of the submission deadline. The aircraft, currently stationed at the 307 EAG hangar, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, will be available for inspection by prospective buyers from December 1 to December 24, 2023.
In the event of hand delivery or courier service, submissions must be directed to the Directorate of Procurement, HQ NAF, no later than December 24, 2023.
