NNPC Ltd addresses fuel scarcity in Lagos and FCT

NNPC Ltd. has announced that the recent tightness in fuel supply and distribution observed in parts of Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is due to a hitch in the discharge operations of a few vessels. The company reassured the public that it is taking all necessary measures to resolve the issue swiftly and efficiently.

In a statement released by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., the company acknowledged the disruptions and the impact they have had on the public. “The tightness in fuel supply and distribution witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the FCT is as a result of a hitch in the discharge operations of a couple of vessels,” the statement read.

NNPC Ltd. is actively collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to address the situation. “We are working round the clock with all stakeholders to resolve the situation and restore normalcy in the operations,” Soneye emphasized.
