The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced that the recent tightness in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in certain regions of the country has been successfully addressed.
In a statement released by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., the company attributed the supply constraints to logistical challenges, which have since been resolved.
NNPC Ltd. reassured the public that there will be no changes in the prices of petroleum products despite the temporary disruption in supply.
The company further urged Nigerians to refrain from panic buying, emphasizing that there is an ample supply of petroleum products available throughout the country.
This announcement comes as a relief to consumers who have been facing difficulties in accessing fuel due to the recent supply issues.
