- Set up of ward congress electoral committee
The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has authorized the appointment of the following party members to form the Ondo State Ward Congress Electoral Committee. This committee is tasked with overseeing the 3-Man Ad-Hoc Ward Congress, which aims to elect three Ad-Hoc Delegates per Ward, one of whom must be a woman, across the 203 Wards of Ondo State.
In a communiqué issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Honorable Debo Ologunagba, the Ward Congress is slated to take place at the Ward Secretariat in each of the 203 Wards on Monday, April 8, 2024. Senator Abba Moro has been designated as the Chairman of the Committee, with Barrister Nheoma Ndu serving as the Secretary. Additional committee members include Honorable Tom Zakari, Comrade Issaiah Makinde, and Chief David Kolawole Vaughan.
Ologunagba emphasized that the NWC enjoins all Governorship aspirants, leaders, key stakeholders, and members of the PDP in Ondo State to take cognizance of this directive and to adhere to it accordingly.
