PDP clarifies venue announcement for Edo third ad-hoc delegate congress

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has responded to recent media reports claiming that the list of venues for the Edo State PDP 3 Ad-Hoc Delegate Congress has been released. The committee, led by Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary, issued an official statement refuting the alleged publication.

According to the NWC, the publication in question, purportedly signed by the National Organizing Secretary, falsely claims to present the official venues for the PDP Governorship Primary election in Edo State. The PDP vehemently denies releasing any such list.

In unequivocal terms, the PDP emphasizes its commitment to due process and asserts that the authentic and official list of venues for the Edo State PDP 3 Ad-Hoc Delegate Congress will be communicated through the appropriate channels as established by the Party.

The NWC urges all members of the PDP in Edo State and the general public to disregard the misleading publication. Furthermore, the Party emphasizes the importance of relying on the official communication channels outlined in the PDP Constitution for accurate information.

Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary, signed the statement, reinforcing the Party’s call for adherence to official channels and the dissemination of accurate information. The PDP also encourages the media to follow the established communication procedures outlined in the Party’s Constitution.

The Peoples Democratic Party remains steadfast in upholding transparency and due process in its internal processes and calls for the cooperation of all stakeholders in ensuring the dissemination of accurate and official information.
