Senator Barau expresses profound grief over the passing of Kano lawmaker, Halilu Kundila

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, deeply mourns the loss of Honorable Halilu Ibrahim Kundila, a distinguished member of the Kano State House of Assembly, who departed from this world last night.

Representing the Bagwai/Shanono Constituency, Kundila peacefully passed away in Kano State and was laid to rest on Sunday, in accordance with Islamic traditions.

In an official statement conveyed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau paid tribute to the late lawmaker, recognizing his unwavering dedication to serving his constituents and advancing the welfare of humanity.

Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones, Senator Barau emphasized that Kundila’s demise represents an immeasurable loss not only to his immediate kin but also to the entirety of Kano North and the broader Kano State community.

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuun. I received the distressing news of the passing of Honorable Halilu Ibrahim Kundila. The late Honorable Kundila was a diligent and devoted legislator whose contributions greatly impacted the progress of our state,” remarked Senator Barau.

He concluded with a prayer, “May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus, and bestow upon his family the strength to endure this irreplaceable loss.”
