A seasoned civil servant and the most senior director in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), Mr. Ogunjimi has over three decades of experience in financial management.
He has held prominent roles, including Director of Funds at the OAGF and Director of Finance and Accounts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His qualifications span chartered accountancy, fraud examination, stockbroking, and investment expertise, complemented by a BSc in Accountancy and a Master’s in Finance and Accounting.
President Tinubu highlighted Ogunjimi’s expertise, stating, “The Office of the Accountant General is pivotal to our nation’s treasury management. Mr. Ogunjimi’s competence ensures the continued effectiveness of this critical institution as we pursue our economic reforms.”
The President also praised Dr. Madein’s service, noting her dedication and contributions as she prepares for statutory retirement on March 7, 2025.
