Tinubu appoints Uba Sani Renewed Hope ambassador, deputy DG

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation, with immediate effect.

The appointment was announced in a statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

President Tinubu, in his capacity as leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), cited Governor Sani’s leadership credentials and organisational capacity as key considerations for the role.

Under the new designation, Governor Sani will work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative and the party hierarchy, particularly the APC National Chairman, to promote cohesion, inclusiveness and strategic coordination across all tiers of party mobilisation and engagement.

The President tasked the appointee with galvanising support for the party’s programmes and policies, publicising its milestones and achievements, and strengthening public confidence in the Renewed Hope agenda nationwide.

In a letter conveying the appointment, President Tinubu stated that the overarching objective is to ensure broad citizen awareness and support for the party and its candidates at all levels ahead of the 2027 general election.

“Preparation is critical and essential to achieving this outcome, and your leadership will be central to guiding this process effectively and strategically,” the President wrote.
