Tinubu, Dangote to headline 2024 diaspora investment summit – Dabiri-Erewa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and business magnate Alhaji Aliko Dangote are set to headline the 2024 Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit, which will take place from November 5 to 7 in Abuja.

This announcement was made by Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), during a pre-event briefing in Abuja.

Dabiri-Erewa revealed that over 2,000 participants are expected at the hybrid event, with 500 exhibitors and attendees expressing interest. President Tinubu will serve as the special guest of honor, underscoring the importance of the summit to his administration’s economic agenda.

Alhaji Dangote, one of Africa’s most prominent business leaders, will be the guest speaker on the first day, sharing his vast experience in navigating Nigeria’s business landscape. John Olajide, another successful entrepreneur, will deliver the keynote address on the second day. The event will also feature notable figures from the entertainment industry, including actor Richard Mofe-Damijo.

This year’s summit will focus on key sectors essential to driving investment and economic growth in Nigeria, such as Finance, ICT, Fintech, Creative Industries, Agribusiness, Healthcare, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Mining.

Dabiri-Erewa emphasized that the summit promises to offer insightful discussions, valuable networking opportunities, and actionable strategies to harness the potential of the Nigerian diaspora. She noted that past summits have successfully attracted significant investments and expressed optimism for even greater outcomes this year.
