President Tinubu made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the Global Tijaniyya Movement, led by Khalifa Muhammad Mahe Niass, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Sunday. During the meeting, he also underscored his administration’s support for initiatives aimed at providing assistance to Hajj pilgrims and stressed the significance of spiritual endeavors in the nation-building process.

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of collaboration between political and spiritual leaders in advancing national interests and fostering unity among the populace. Regarding agriculture, he outlined several initiatives aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity, including the expansion of farmlands, the provision of low-interest loans to farmers, and substantial investments in irrigation infrastructure.

“We are dedicated to equipping hospitals with modern equipment, providing healthcare professionals with training, and ensuring social welfare for every citizen, including comprehensive health insurance coverage,” President Tinubu affirmed.

He also highlighted plans to boost food production through aggressive mechanization, stating, “Nigeria will become a net-exporter of food. We are bringing thousands of tractors. Food production will be greatly expanded through aggressive mechanization. We must be productive as a people. That is the Sunnah and the principles I grew up understanding.”
