The Nigerian Army continues to intensify efforts to dismantle terrorist networks across multiple operational theaters, delivering significant blows to insurgents. In a recent operation, troops successfully ambushed and neutralized terrorists attempting to evade military action, disrupting their escape plans and forcing them into retreat.
Based on credible intelligence, troops stationed at Kwaga village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, Kaduna State, laid a well-coordinated ambush along the Birnin Gwari-Manini axis.

The ensuing firefight resulted in the elimination of two terrorists, while the rest fled in disarray under heavy fire.
During the operation, troops recovered key arms and equipment, including two AK-47 rifles, three rifle magazines, a Baofeng radio, and three motorcycles used by the fleeing terrorists.
The Nigerian Army reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of all citizens. Efforts are ongoing to track down the wounded insurgents.
