UN Nigeria hosts empowering gender-responsive procurement symposium

In a significant stride towards advancing gender equality through procurement, the United Nations Nigeria recently hosted a dynamic two-day Gender-Responsive Procurement Symposium. The event placed a special emphasis on engaging and empowering female entrepreneurs, recognizing the pivotal role they play in reshaping economic opportunities.

The symposium, which actively involved women in business, sought to break down barriers and encourage their active participation in procurement processes.
