Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, has been nominated to serve as the keynote speaker at the 5th edition of the Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe Annual Award Lecture, scheduled for November 16, 2024.
The event will take place at Zik Hall in Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, and will focus on the theme: “The Nigeria Governance Model, Prosperity & Prospective.”
In a formal invitation, Dr. Chineme Onyeke, Director-General of the Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe Annual Lecture/Merit Award, highlighted the event’s commitment to promoting national integration and unity, key principles championed by Nigeria’s first President, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.
The letter acknowledged Zulum as a “transformational governor,” whose leadership has had significant national impact. It also noted Zulum’s previous recognition, two years ago, for his contributions to security management in Borno State. The invitation expressed the hope that Zulum would attend the event along with government officials, friends, and political associates.
Zulum, who continues to gain international recognition, is also scheduled to speak at the Qatar Security Conference in Doha in December.
