The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has unveiled a new, enhanced platform for reporting cybercrime-related offenses, reaffirming its commitment to combating cybercrime and bolstering digital security.
According to Force Public Relations Officer Force Headquarters Abuja, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the newly launched platform, managed by the NPF National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), is accessible at [https://nccc.npf.gov.ng/ereport/signin], replacing the previous site [https://incb.npf.gov.ng], which should no longer be used.
He said this upgraded domain features advanced security measures to protect user information and ensure confidentiality, making it user-friendly for efficient reporting of cybercrime incidents. It also boasts improved tracking and response mechanisms to ensure timely and effective action on reported cases.
The Inspector General of Police encourages the public to use this new platform to report any cybercrime activities, emphasizing that vigilance and prompt reporting are crucial in the fight against cybercrime in Nigeria and beyond.
